Biography
After starting his career in a law firm and working 6 years in industry (Alcatel and Valeo), Thomas founded in 2006 his IP law firm Innovincia, acquired in 2020 by LLR.
Thomas CROONENBROEK analyses search reports, prepares responses to notifications issued by Patent Offices, conducts freedom to operate and infringement searches.
He prepares oppositions before the European Patent Office, establishes portfolio reviews according to asset valuation criteria, initiates infringement litigation, negotiates licenses and contracts and evaluates patent portfolios of third party companies. More specifically, he offers companies, individuals or research and development institutes tailor-made support to bring their industrial property strategy in line with their general strategy.
Thomas CROONENBROEK works in various technical fields in physics, mechanics, electronics and mechatronics. His main fields of expertise are new technologies for hybrid and electric cars, renewable energies, in particular solar panels (semiconductor physics) and wind turbines, power electricity and network management, optics, mechatronics, sensors and physical measurements, and thermal conditioning circuits, in particular in the automotive industry.
